about us
Windy West Plumbing was founded by Jason Feyter, a local resident who saw the need for dependable, high-quality plumbing services in the area. Even before starting his plumbing career, Jason’s aptitude and dedication to the trade were clear. As a second-year plumbing student, he earned a gold medal at the Skills Canada Competition in 2011, a milestone that reflected both his technical skill and commitment to excellence. That same dedication, paired with a passion for outstanding customer service, led to the creation of Windy West Plumbing.
Jason’s apprenticeship provided hands-on experience alongside some of the most skilled and specialized plumbers in the industry. During this time, he worked extensively in food processing plants, including facilities such as Lamb Weston—where everyone’s favourite McDonald’s fries are made—and Frito-Lay, home of the legendary Lay’s BBQ chips (arguably the best chips around
). This experience was complemented by work on custom homes featuring hydronic heating systems, as well as dairy barns, where he helped design and build complex plumbing systems.
This diverse background went well beyond typical plumbing projects and repairs, laying the foundation for deep expertise in specialized plumbing applications. Today, that knowledge is put to use across the food processing, winery, brewery, dairy, and agricultural industries—areas that continue to be some of the most rewarding and challenging projects for the Windy West crew.
What truly sets Windy West Plumbing apart is our deep-rooted connection to the communities we serve. We understand the unique plumbing challenges faced by residential homeowners, food processing facilities, wineries, breweries, agricultural businesses, and dairy operations—from extreme weather conditions to highly specialized system requirements. Windy West Plumbing remains steadfast in its commitment to our communites, staying up to date with the latest plumbing technologies and industry standards to meet the evolving needs of every sector we serve.
